Christ thirsts on the cross (Jn 19:28). Not only for water, but for souls.
Even now, he thirsts to give us relationship, meaning, peace.
He thirsts for our sanctity. To love and be loved--this is our vocation.
Do we hear him call our name?
Will we quench his thirst?
